Here are the designers, pieces, and looks I’m most excited by.
At Ashish there was a collection based on a world cruise and featured sequined maps and Hawaiian shirts. I found some of the collection to be rather garish but particularly enjoyed:
This jaunt to Paris with this dazzling fully sequined Eiffel tower dress….
Going tropical with yet more sequins with these fabulous flamingo trousers, perfectly balanced with a plain grey top….

And what holiday would be complete without a big ice-cream. Here’s a no-calories version in the form of a sequin mini-dress. The spiked denim jacket stops the look being too pop-y and childish.
Clements Ribeiro made their return to fashion week after a 4-year absence, they said "We've gone back to the things we love – cats and stripes - and kept it pared down for now,”

Another favourite collection was the Peter Jensen collection, which featured bunnies, lady-like looks and knotted hoods.
The show was presented with cardboard cut outs of the models, which added a playful feel.
These knotted top hoods added interest to the standard hoodie.

This lady-like look, perfect for channelling first ladies, is given a playful twist with a bunny patterned cardigan.

More bunnies with this dress:

Apron inspired dresses for the girl who likes to be glamorous in the kitchen. With more people stay at home and cooking dinner instead of going to restaurants this dress is very now.
And perfect for spring picnics for dates on a budget this checked skirt and ant print dress.

More LFW picks in part 2.
