For my recent uni project, I was looking into fencing, after finding a vintage fencing helmet at Portobello road. I needed some first hand research and after spending hours searching for fencing images at LCF/Kingston and St Martins libraries and finding zilch, I contacted a fencing club in New Malden. The lovely people at the fencing club invited me to attend a session, and allowed me to photograph them in action and I got to do some live illustrations too. What do you think?
