LFW Day 1: b Store

The b Store presentation took place in the Elms Lesters Painting Rooms, and with the help of goggle maps, we eventually found it. The venue fitted perfectly as the rugged and stripped down backdrop for the show and for the set.

There was quite a buzz about the show as the garments were displayed on live models, who posed for approximately 2 minutes then moved into the next position around the set there were mostly 4 models on stage at a time but occasionally a couple more were added into the situation, it really felt like a living advertisement.

I loved these massive bobbles on the hats, infact, there was alot of very nice knitwear.

Really liked the styling, using the gloves over the suit with rolled up trousers. The menswear was really sharp.

We walked to the back of the floor to discover a short film being projected on to a wall, created by filmmaker, Ivana Bobic which helped to create the mood of a man made wildness. We drank whiskey mixed with ginger beer and lime with ice, which is apparently called a Jamaican Eye?!? It was lovely! although quite moreish- and did make me feel a little tipsy at 12 o clock. They served lovely canapes, the mozzarella & sweet pepper ones being my favourite. After b Store, we went back to Somerset house for the Craig Lawrence fashion film.
