London Fashion Week is not just for the big fashion designers. The media coverage and focus on this particular art form provides the perfect opportunity for smaller scale projects to raise their profile and reach their desired audience.

Untold is a company that aims to showcase the talents of new and emerging designers. They have a pop-up boutique that can be spotted around various areas of London from time to time and more permanently you can view the work of featured collective designers via their website, but an evening exhibition at the Battersea Arts Centre provided a relaxed atmosphere in which to socialise and enjoy the latest offering from some of the up and coming designers.
Featured designers included Bestow Elan, Diane Gevorgian - who's collection was inspired by a bunch of metal roosters bought from a car boot sale, Maame Baryeh - who uses creative pattern cutting to inspire design, Chichia London, Pia Love, Luk, Mary Mononokpono and Tarell McIntosh.
Personally I felt that the show would have worked better in a smaller venue giving it a more intimate and exclusive feel. The turn out for the show was very good but the huge size of the Grand Hall didn't reflect this. Nevertheless congratulations are in order and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
